Alum2 Alum-Share a note with classmates, learn what's happening in the lives of your fellow alumni, and share your news and events by posting a note, The Alumni Association All degree recipients and those who have been granted honorary status are Geena Davis (CFA'79, Hon.'99), automatically enrolled as members of the BUA, the Boston University Alumni Academy Award-winning actress association. The Boston University Alumni Council (BUAC) is the leadership body that governs the association. Comprised of nearly 40 alumni volunteers from across the globe, these alumni hail from each of BU's Schools and Colleges and span six decades of BU history. The BUAC is responsible for setting the direction of the alumni association and is charged with engaging alumni in the life of the University, recommending University priorities, and serving as a voice for the association. This student-led branch of the BUA fosters class unity and strengthens student-alumni ties through programs and events, thus establishing a strong sense of connection while students are still at Boston University.
